My goal is to provide a creative and empowering space where people feel safe and accepted.  I bring compassion, empathy, and warmth while working through a trauma-informed, person-centered lens. One of my core beliefs is that shame and judgement have no place in a collaborative therapeutic relationship.

My primary areas of focus include grief and loss, abuse, anxiety, depression, sexual violence, and human trafficking. I have extensive experience working with the challenges related to family conflict, foster care, adoption, and involvement with Child Protection.  In addition to working at Family Circle Counseling, I work as a therapist at a crisis shelter in the twin cities.  This shelter houses female identified teens who have been, or are at risk of, being trafficked.

My therapeutic approach varies according to the specific needs of the client.  Interventions may include art therapy, movement, motivational interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) or Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I primarily work with teens and adults.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, watercolor painting and traveling the north shore of Minnesota with family and friends.

I’m available to see clients in person or virtually.  I can be contacted directly at 952-856-0049 or [email protected].
