Mireille Bardy, MA, MSW, LICSW, has ten years plus of experience in the mental health field, after being an educator prior for more than 25 years. Her areas of expertise include families, blended families, parenting, attachment issues, mental illness, recovery from sexual, emotional, physical, and religious abuse, couple relationships, long term illness, grief and loss, life transitions, immigration and multiculturalism.
Her years of teaching have specifically nurtured her interest in parent-teacher school relationships. She has worked with students, teachers and families to facilitate mutually successful outcomes. She has also worked extensively with adults living with mental illness and has facilitated groups and family therapy for parents and children on living with a family member with significant mental illness.
Mireille has presented many workshops aimed at training educators and professionals. These include workshops on cross-cultural experience, spiritual questions in mental health practice, spiritual recovery from abuse, family strengths, and mental illness in the family.
