Erika Arnold-McEwan is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, who has over 10 years experience working with a range of emotional and behavioral concerns. Her treatment approach is always mindful of brain development and how stress impacts one's brain and body. She views child, family and adult therapy through an attachment lens and focuses on the interconnectedness of beliefs about one's self, emotions and behaviors. In addition to private practice, she has worked with children, families and adults in a variety of settings including: a domestic abuse program, schools, community agencies and a child guidance center.
Erika provides therapy for children (ages 3-12), families and adults to help manage stressors and develop more helpful coping strategies. Her clinical training and experience have focused on assisting both children and adults heal from trauma, emotional neglect and abuse. She consistently strives to support clients to be more fully functional in their daily lives as well as within their relationships.
