Chris Heise, MSW, LICSW, is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years experience working with children and families experiencing a wide range of difficulties involving mental health issues.
Chris specializes in helping children and adolescents who have been victims of trauma and neglect. He has worked with children, adolescents and families in a variety of settings including residential treatment, day treatment, as well as in the classroom and academic settings.
He provides individual and family therapy with children between the ages of 3 and 18. He is highly experienced with the following therapeutic concepts and interventions: Play Therapy, EMDR, Object Relations Theory, Narrative Therapy, Multi-Sensory Therapy and Mindfulness. He also provides psycho-education for families and colleagues around how trauma affects brain development.
